This website and blog is for homebrew enthusiasts who love to make their own beer and liqueurs. My name is Mike Doughty. I decided to call this website “Homebrew Underground” because when I first became interested in making homebrew beer, I was surprised to discover how extensive homebrewing is! It was right under my nose all this time and I wasn’t even aware of it! People you may know could be homebrewers and you might not know about it! It’s like an “underground” … although not really. Homebrewing is very popular and seems to be growing in popularity.
I enjoy making liqueurs, liqueur pastries and homebrew beer. My wife and I run a Los Angeles Web Design and Internet consulting business in Studio City, California called Studio 1 Design and Hosting. I also have a free tutorial website for desktop publishing and graphics called Mike’s Sketchpad that features Photoshop tutorials and free fonts.
